The harassment, assault and sexual violence against girls and women in Kosovo have turned into a disturbing phenomenon. Almost every day, such cases are reported, where the victims are not rarely even minors. This was true of a recent discovery in Pec.
A rape case was reported last night in Pec, where a young girl denounced a shocking event near the Kosovo Police.
According to the victim's denouncing, it was taken without its 11 o'clock will at “Hage Bajraktari” in Pec.
The signal has learned that the suspect in the case is 26-year-old Luan Kastrati, currently arrested by the Kosovo Police.
It is further learned that the victim has claimed that the suspect has sent him to his house, where he has been held all night. She has reported that the suspect had sexual relations with her without her consent.
Police have identified and arrested the suspect immediately after the indictment. By order of the prosecutor, the suspect has been placed in a 48-hour police ban.
Meanwhile, the victim has been sent for medical examination at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo in Pristina.
