Democratic Union of Integration Chairman Bajram Begaj and Edi Rama, European Commission President Ursula von Leyen, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, France's President Emmanuel Macron and US State Secretary Antony Blinken.
As he has made known DUI, Ahmeti in the letter, expresses its deep concern for recent political and constitutional developments in northern Macedonia, endangering the achievements of the Ohrid Agreement and principles of equality and stability in the multiethnic state, Klan.mk reports.
Ahmeti stresses that three recent decisions for abolishing the Law on Language Use, banning identification of ethnic affiliation in state institutions, and forming a ruling majority without fair representation of ethnic communities pose serious threats to the peace and stability of the country and the region as a whole. It calls on international leaders for joint action to protect the achievements of the Ohrid Agreement and the rights of Albanians in northern Macedonia.
