KDI Director Ismet Kryeziu has criticised the ruling party for abandoning parliamentary sessions that are being called by the opposition.
He has suggested that the dedication made by the VV for participating in these sessions is not democratic.
In his account in “Facebook”, he wrote that this situation is tragic.
“Kong held again an extraordinary session yesterday to discuss the situation at the Kosovo Energy Corporation. Despite continuing disputes, the position of office, is to be commended that Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has led this session, though the parliamentary majority, has chosen not to attend. The VV, through MP Dugolli, has indicated that the parliamentary majority will participate in the sessions only then after the opposition votes on international agreements. This is a tragic situation, as the opposition has managed to influence that for weeks the parliamentary majority will not participate in the Parliament, and be responsible for a non-functional assembly. Parliamentary democracy and the responsibility of the parliamentary majority are not constitutional issues, but dialogue and negotiation with the opposition. On the contrary, in a assembly that does not participate in the parliamentary majority, it would be better to distribute”, Kryeziu wrote.
