For 300 opening sites for new recruits, 1658 people have applied

The defence ministry has announced that the competition for the admission of new soldiers has been closed. For 300 opening countries to accept new recruits, 1658 people have applied.

The Kosovo Security Force is expected soon to join 300 new recruits. That's because the competition for the new soldiers' admission is closed.

The Ministry of Defence has announced that out of 300 open countries for the admission of new recruits, 1658 people have applied.

We consider that it is good for us when there are people interested in these current global developments in which other states face these problems”, said Shemsi Syla, deputy defence minister.

According to Syla, The KSF is on good track to meet the terms of the transital phase, which the military is going through.

“Graduales we're completing and meeting a condition we have, to make full capacity at the end of a mandate that we have a transitor phase. This says a lot that we are filling our capacity in terms of human resources as a prerequisite to fill full capacity”, Syla said.

The process of transforming the Kosovo Security Force into force with military capacities has entered the sixth year of the ten-year transition plan. / RTK
