Xhaferi: My election as prime minister of Northern Macedonia is a reality that occurs at the right time

Talat Xhaferi, the incoming prime minister of northern Macedonia, has said his appointment to this position is timely.

He today becomes the first Albanian to head the North Macedonian government, though he will be a technical government with a mandate of 100 days.

Xhaferi for Klan Kosovo has declared that earlier it has been a taboo to talk Albanians to be at the helm of institutions, according to him, now this is a reality.

I think it's timely and it's not late, because the procedural and formal aspects define the Law on Government. Determining that 100 days before holding the elections, there must be technical governments, which have priority organising and managing the election process, and not only aspects of government competencies and the functioning of institutions.
