Vuciq: For the first time, we gather for the economy, not for politics where we have big differences.

Leaders of the Western Balkans and other senior EU and US officials today have gathered in Skopje to discuss the EU's plan for economic growth in the region.

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said it is important to secure so-called green channels, which easily enable passage across the EU's border of trucks with goods.

I find that for the first time, we gather to talk specifically about the economy, not about major political issues where there are big differences between us, and I think it's a good prerequisite for the region's progress, respectively, for people to feel the benefits of what we're working on”, among other things Vuciq.
