Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has written on Facebook on Sunday on the issue of visa liberalisation, recognition of passports from Spain to travel, license plates, as well as the issue of electricity in the north that will begin to be paid through Elektrostor.
He has said these results are also the result of a long work of institutions, state workers, international partners, as well as citizens whom Kurt thanked.
The first week of the new year has been the week of new beginnings for our citizens and state. For the first time, we can travel to the zone without visas. Serbia's illegal plates came to an end 24 years after the liberation of RKS plates were recognised by Serbia 15 years after the declaration of Independence. Electricity registration in four municipalities north of the country began after more than two decades. Meanwhile, on the eve of the 16th anniversary of Independence, Spain joined the states of the European Union that recognise Kosovo passport”.
The “The beginnings we are marking and celebrating now are the results of a long work and the great determination of our institutions that continue further. I thank all the political cabinets and government and government employees for their contribution, and our international partners for the role they played. But mostly the citizens of our country who trusted us yesterday and who support us today and every day” wrote Kurti on Facebook.
