According to Kosovo Police data, for only 15 days, since visa liberalisation -- January 1- 15th -- over 650 thousand citizens have moved from Kosovo.
Police have said that between January 1st and January 15th, 511 thousand and 604 travelers have left Kosovo, until 155,000 and 816 travelers have emerged for this period through the airport.
As for the same period, January 1-15, 2023, according to the Police from Kosovo, 464 thousand and 178 persons across land borders were released by 13.2 percent less than in the first two weeks of January of this year.
From the date 01.01.24 to 15,01.2024, based on RKS' daily Border Police reports, 511604 travelers to land borders alone, compared to the same period as 2023 (464178) has an increase of 10.2%. From the date 01.01.2024 to 15,01,2024 through the airport have passed 155816 travelers, compared to the same period last year we have an increase of 13.2 %”, reportedly in the police's response to Blic newspaper.
