Lower temperatures on weekends: Snow fjolls Forecast

Temperatures these days are about the average values for this period of time or little above average values, while atmospheric rainfall is not at all under the strong influence of the dry anticyclonic mass expected after a period of slightly more frequent rainfall.

Today the weather is clearing up, but in Kosovo and some other continental areas will blow a bit cold winds from the north, yet strong sun and temperatures suffer no decline. The new, cold air front arrives on Saturday morning with passing snow and rainfall, while the cold winds from the north power the front as the sporadic snows of local character continue.

At the same time, air from central Europe comes even colder, especially on the Sunday, with a further drop in temperature and local snowfall in some continental areas, especially in Kosovo and North Macedonia. Snowfalls will be scarce and local, but sometimes they can donate spectacular short - term views.

Lowering temperatures will be more felt in northern Kosovo, Valley and Macedonia, but in Albania more or less, while snow fjolles can sometimes give beautiful views (on Sunday and Monday).

The occasional snowflakes continue on Monday, where another cold day is expected. These cold air measures are the result of Cyclonic systems from Scandinavian deep into eastern Europe and Eurasia.

The end of January marks the ever stronger empowerment of the anticyclone and also increases temperatures, as frontal systems from the north and east will eventually leave our territories deeper and deeper to the east, so as for this January, enjoy these occasional snow flages on Sunday and Monday.
