For the first time in history, on Monday in the office of prime minister of Northern Macedonia will be an Albanian, Talat Xhaferi.
The surrender of office between outgoing Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and new Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi will take place at 10:00, while a news conference will be held later.
The technical government led by Talat Xhaferi, with a 100-day mandate, was voted today in the North Macedonia Assembly with 65 votes to 3 against and no abstention.
In his presentation, Xhaferi said the priority in his mandate would be to implement fair and democratic presidential elections, rule of law and respect of the Constitution, as well as promote strategic relations with the EU, the US and NATO.
