A New York police sergeant killed his wife and two children before committing suicide over the weekend, police reported, writes Independent.
The Police Department in Clarkstown identified the victims at the crime scene. It's 49-year-old Watson Morgan, his Albanian wife Ornela Morgan, 43, and the couple's two sons, aged 10 and 12.
Authorities said all four had gunshot wounds, and a gun was found at the scene, broadcast Telegrafi.

Their troops were discovered by police shortly after midnight Friday at the family home on the outskirts of New York City, after Morgan failed to report to his evening shift at the Bronxville Police Department.
“at this phase of the investigation is believed to have killed the woman and his two children before killing himself with fire weapons”, a statement by the Police Department in Clarkstown said.

Watson was a police officer at the New York Police Department for seven years.
He then joined the police in Bronxville, located in Westchester County, and in 2007 he was promoted to the Sergeant's degree.

According to an X post from the official Educators of New York, Ornela Watson was a public school teacher in New York City.
A family neighbor, who asked not to be named, told the New York Post that the community has remained shocked.

I would never expect [he] to do anything like that”, the woman said.
The kids were always here playing outside, and their mother was just the sweetest person you've ever met... We're in shock. All in this community are shocked”, she added.
