Stojkovic: Serbia Must Accept Kosovo's Independence

Serbian lawyer Cedomir Stojkovic, in an interview for Debat Plus, has said he personally recognises Kosovo's independence, and that, according to him, his state should do so.

According to him, it is in Serbia's interest to recognise and help Kosovo on its international path.

He stressed that Kosovo's independence is already a fact carried out.

Not only do I accept Kosovo's independence, I consider it in Serbia's interest to provide for Kosovo's independence, the only way Serbia is to go is to help neighbour Kosovo become a member of all international organisations, the natural interest is for its neighbour to be good... I think not only that I know Kosovo's independence, this has been done for the time being. My country must help Kosovo not only achieve the full level of independence, but help and co-operate with each other.”, he said.
