The Kosovo Hospital Clinical and University Service has reported that 14 patients who have suffered injuries from burns from gas canisters in the village of Kchiq in Mitrovica, following treatment at the KKUK Emergency Clinic, have been transferred for further treatment to various QKUK clinics.
According to SchSKUK, four of them have been operated in emergency halls, while interventions have been conducted in the small operating room, the Reanimation and Surgery Service of the same clinic.
“4 patients have been transferred for further treatment to Central Intensive Medicine, as they have the most severe health condition from burning”, the SKKUK report said.
“8 patients have been transferred to the Plastic Surgery Clinic, where they are continuing treatment and supervision by health staff”, it is said further.
“2 in Abdominal Surgery and 1 will be transferred to Torcal Surgery”, further said.
The medical and nursing staff of these clinics will continue to provide 24-hour health care and supervision for these patients.
