Today, signing of the signatures for the Attic's dismissal is expected to begin

The signing meeting under the petition for the dismissal of northern Mitrovica chairman Erden Attic is expected to begin today at 09:00.

This petition is organised by the Serbian initial group. The head of the Municipal Assembly in northern Mitrovica, Nexhat Uglijan, has confirmed this.

Erden Attic was elected mayor of this municipality in April last year in elections held in four northern Kosovo municipalities.

The position he won officially took on May 19, 2023, after his oath. Several months later, on October 13th 2023, the Serbian List ʹ changed its stance by announcing they will participate in the elections warned in four northern municipalities.

The April 23rd elections, in which four municipalities -- North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Leposaviq -- were won by Albanian chairman, boycotted by the Serbian List. /Kallex
