The Serbian List has reacted after Kosovo Central Bank's new decision that the only currency allowed in Kosovo for conducting cash payments transaction and in the payment system in the Republic of Kosovo is the euro.
“Other non-euro currencies can only be used in the Republic of Kosovo as a value for physical storage or in bank accounts in non-euro currency, for conducting international payments in non-euro currency and for currency exchange activities”, said at BEC regulations.
The Serbian List has accused Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti of targeting “to expel Serbs without using weapons”.
The decision of Albin Kurti's regime since 1 February to ban the use of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo and M. It is actually a decision to expel Serbs from these areas without using” weapons, the Serbian Facebook List has written. “After all forms of institutional violence against Serbs from Kurti's authoritarian regime have been used, and have failed to expel all Serbs from Kosovo and M., he has now decided to ban the dinar in Kosovo and M. and directly jeopardises the physical survival of Serbs”.
The Serbian list has said it must be alert for international representatives to act as soon as possible for “prevent Kurt's madness before it is too late”.
