Rizvanolli: Kosovo remains with freer electricity price in region

Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli, at the Kosovo Assembly session, where electricity prices are being discussed, has said Kosovo has the lowest prices in the region and Europe.

Rizvanolli also mentioned subsidies.

When we talk about electricity, Kosovo is at the cheapest price in the region and Europe. In recent years, it has been challenging in the energy sector, the crisis has been faced in the best possible way possible”, the minister has said.

We had excellent co-operation with Albania. Kosovo remains the state with the price of the most free electricity in the region”, it has added.

In addition, Rizvanolli has shown that the Kosovo government has helped citizens and businesses through subsidy.

Next subsidies will be made directly on the bill, divided into six monthly installments, starting with the January bill.

40,620 families who have qualified in the first group will benefit from the subsidy of electricity.
