Protests begin for the opening of Bush's George Street, Rama has decided to eventually turn it into boulevard

The protest, organised by “Lagean Watchers”, is held from 12:00 in “George Bush” Square in the capital.

Fatmir Muccoli, one of the protesters, expressed frustration on behalf of protesters.

“Why isn't anyone present here from the Pristina municipality? Why isn't anyone here present from the Ministry of Infrasktructure, Environment and Space Planning? “said Muchill.

The protest warning read: “We organise an essential protest about the opening of George Bush Street, a road that can easily be opened by removing concretes that close. The call is open to every individual tired of these practices of our mayor”.

“Progress Rama promised that the road would be closed only for a 1-week test, then said it would be closed only to urban traffic, allowing passage of buses and taxis.
