Secretary PDK, Betim Djoshi, has asked the ambassadors of Western countries to react to attacks that power is making to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
He has suggested that during past governments these ambassadors responded to even the smallest of concerns.
In his account in “Facebook”, he wrote that ambassadors are silenced even when all independent institutions are being politicised before their eyes.
“During past governments, ambassadors once responded to even the smallest of worries. But not now! Ambassadors are silent even when all independent institutions are being politicised before their eyes. Ambassadors are silent even when Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, or Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu, attacks the Constitutional Court, Prosecutors and Judges”, has written Joshi.
According to him, such an action cannot be imagined in Western countries.
The ambassadors are silenced even when Government and its people are attacking freedom of Word! Ambassadors know very well that this can't happen in their democratic countries, but they're keeping quiet. Ambassadors know that attacks on independent institutions, on judges and prosecutors occur only in Russia and the surrounding states. Ambassadors, why are you quiet? When are you gonna talk?
