Kosovo police have reported that they have identified two people who are interested in interviewing in connection with the hand grenade attack in northern Mitrovica.
Deputy Director of Police for the North Veton Elshani has said that the people in question have not been found in their homes following the checks of security organs.
The relevant police units, as well as the prosecutor, were on the scene and were taken into account. The North Mitrovica regional investigation unit has continued working with added intensity today and has already identified two people who are interested in interviewing. The same have been requested in their homes, but no” have been found.
Elshani said the first doubts do not speak of any conflict associated with ethnic motives.
“is believed to be the result of previous problems between these people. We're already investigating some leads”, Elshani said.
