At the social network “X”, Kurti has attached a letter that European Socialists Party Chairman (PES) Stefan Lofven has sent to Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, where the irregularities in Serbia's December 17th 2023 elections are discussed.

The head of the Kosovo executive has stressed that free and fair elections are the cornerstone of stability and progress.

“I repeat concerns raised by president EPS, Stefan Lofven, concerning rule of law in Serbia. Free and fair elections, such as the cornerstone of stability and progress, must be protected collectively. These pillars of democracy are crucial to our common aspirations as Social Democrats”, writes Kurti.
