After Dejan Beric, a Serbian mercenary in the Russian Army, complained last year that Russians “treat Serbs as livestock, call them Gypsies and beat them”, severe penalties have come from the Russian Defence Ministry, Serbian media reports.

It is said that the Serb's request to move to Akhmat -- that is, the battalion that would be under the command of Chechen leader Ramzan Cadyrov -- was rejected.

Instead, Serbian mercenaries were sent to the front line, to the place of fiercer fighting, and the Russian prosecution launched an investigation that could lead to a trial.

As the Russian channel TG reports, the defence ministry there decided to punish Serbs who approached Vladimir Putin and complained that they were treated like livestock in the army. Moscow rejected the recommendation at Akhmat and redirected them to the front line, reports Jutarnji.hr.

As Russian media reports, even notorious Dejan Beric's status does not help.

Beric has previously assured Serbs that he had agreed to everything with Ramzan Cadyrov for the movement under his “mospell”.

However, not long later, the Kremlin rejected Caderov's request, with the formulation “that any blackmail and provocation against the leadership of the military department should be sanctioned”. The Military Prosecutor is allegedly given the duty to issue a plea under which Serbs will be declared <x2rebels and provocative”.

We remember that Dejan Beric, the notorious Serbian mercenary from Ukraine, had complained a few days ago about the command of the 119th Parashu Regition in which they serve foreign mercenaries and spoke about it in a message he published on social networks and video. was attracted to the attention of Russian BBC-based service.

Dejan Beric is one of the most famous Balkan mercenaries who have fought on the side of the rebel Russians from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions since 2014. He is an obedient Russian who recruits Serbs to the Russian Army, among other things through his YouTube channel with more than 100,000 subscribers, and recently he was a member of the voters' initiative group that supported Vladimir Putin's candidacy for presidential elections in March of this year. year.

The Supreme Public Prosecutor in Belgrade earlier told Radio Free Europe (RSE) that the case against Dejan Berysic is in the phase of evidence and that it is not available to state authorities. For the criminal work of participating in war or armed conflict in a foreign country, he is sentenced to prison terms of between six months and five years, and the penalty is more severe if the criminal act was committed in a group, as well as for organising participation in a war in a foreign country. /Vijesti
