Three Kosovo tourists blocked by snow in Valbona, saved by Albanian police, Kosovo Civil Emergencys

Three tourists from Kosovo have been rescued after they remained on a steep terrain in Albania's Valbona.

Albania's police reported that they were rescued after a commitment in co-operation with the Kosovo Civil Emergency.

The “was stuck, in an extremely rugged and snowy terrain, in the mountains of Doberdol, the Tropoja Police, in collaboration with Kosovo's Civil Emercenj, provide help to tourists. Around 11:00, Kosovo's Civil Emergencys have reported that 3 tourists from Kosovo, exploring Valbona apps, with snow engines, were stranded because of the rugged and snowy terrain. Shortly after receiving the announcement, the services of the Tropoja Police Commissioner, in co-operation with the Kosovo Civil Emergency, have organised work and started the search, with the aim of locate tourists”, said the Police report.

After several hours of research by police services, in collaboration with the Kosovo Civil Emergency, at the site called “Ura Poyanes”, the tourist who had been stranded was located, while the other 2 tourists had managed to make it to the Kosovo area”, the report said.

He has thanked the Kosovo Police and Civil Emergency Services for providing immediate assistance. The Kukes Police Local Directorate invites citizens to call at least 112x1> in any case of need, said the report.
