Kosovo customs seizes smuggled goods in Zvecan

Customs smuggling units with police assistance today in Zvecan have conducted a successful operation, confiscating a significant amount of illegal goods into a warehouse.

According to this institution's announcement, during this action, there were picked up and confiscated:280 pieces of strong alcoholic beverages, 300 pieces of wine, as well as 180 different cosmetic products.

The total value of confiscated goods exceeds 7,000 euros.

This achieved “is the result of close co-operation between Customs and Police units under joint efforts to fight illegal goods traffic. We invite all citizens and businesses to report any suspicious information and to help in our joint fight against organised crime and smuggling”, the Kosovo Customs report said further.
