Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti voiced conviction that the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, in the upcoming elections, will no longer take the citizens' trust to lead.
According to Hoti, such a situation has resulted from the failure to fulfill Kurt's promises, which he gave during the time he was in opposition and now at the head of government.
“A will have elections this year or not, it's hard to say. In our current situation, these are the most unpredictable people. If Kurt were to review the realization of his agenda, what he promised when he was in opposition, what he promised when he was in the last elections, and what he has accomplished until this day, the fragments are like night to day. Therefore, I believe that in the upcoming elections Kurti no longer takes the confidence to lead the country”, Hoti said on the “debate tip”.
Hoti even praised that the Democratic League of Kosovo is fully ready for elections.
In addition, the LDK deputy mentioned several areas, in which, according to him, the government in power has slipped into their development.
Therefore, Hoti said that considering citizens' dissatisfaction with current governance, the Vetevendosje Movement will have more support from certain groups of people.
We take the situation with the economy, there is no new fiscal policy, no new investment in these four years. I believe that the business community can no longer support such a party. Then we get to the education field, there's been 2-3 years that schools are long-opened. Fight the unions. Communication with unions is like being enemies, not social partners. So there are certain groups of citizens, who make up the majority in this country, who are extremely unhappy with this government. These people, they can give further support to this government”,potncoi Hoti.
We remember that position and opposition have warned that Kosovo could go to early parliamentary elections.
