Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Minister Donika Grovalla- Schwarz has announced that Kosovo citizens will be able to travel to the United Arab Emirates on February 22nd.

After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Arab Emirates for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, today we have accepted the Verbale Note by the EBA Foreign Ministry, through which we have been informed that the date of the entry into force of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed with the date 11,01.2024, will come into force by 22.02.2024. ”

Gervalla has thanked President Osmani, the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as her counterpart Abdullah bin Zayid Al Nahian.

For the successful conclusion of this process, I thank the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani, for his contribution to reaching this agreement between the two states, the president of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahian as well as my counterpart Abdullah bin Zayid Al Nahian. ”

She has said that “so, with sound steps we are empowering our international subjectivity and we are able to expand not only the free movement of our citizens”.
