Prime Minister Edi Rama has established a new ministry of economy, culture and innovation at the helm of which he has proposed the name of Blendi Gonge as chairman.
Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered the news through a social networking post. He writes that he has decided to change the structure of government and establish a new ministry that will unite into a single part that currently operates separately in the respective finance and cultural and economic ministries.
Prime Minister Edi Rama: Lipsets to be transferred today into an integrated government approach in relation to the sectors of economics, culture and innovation, which for the new phase of development we've just entered, must emerge from the country's traditional narrow borders and interact closely with each other, especially in terms where digital technology has entered as a new power of time in all areas of life and requires strategic direction, governance and inter-servative co-ordination; when culture can no longer remain a small island separate from the new economic dynamics of the country, which has a great potential for which it can contribute to more strategically, when it can benefit itself in the new sector of governance.
For this strategic need of this new phase of development, I have decided on changing the structure of government and creating a new Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, which will unite into one that currently works separately in the respective ministries of Finance and Economy and Culture.
