US Ambassador to Belgrade Chris Hill has spoken again about the dinar issue in Kosovo, saying talks on this are continuing.
Speaking about BECA regulation which excludes the dinar as currency in Kosovo Hill had reacted yesterday, saying it has been an unnecessary surprise on the part of Kosovo.
Asked how this would be resolved and whether Assistant Secretary James O'Brien in northern Macedonia has come to this point, Hill has said that talks are being discussed in Skopje and that talks are ongoing.
“Europe wants the Western Balkans to approach with solutions, that the goal of this summit was to remove the barriers between Western Balkan economies, not new obstacles”
Yesterday in Skopje, Sam of the six Western Balkan countries was held. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq have also confirmed that he has discussed Serbian currency with State Department official.
