Another defeat by Roseta Hajdari's ministry annulled the tender for reservations, referring to the abolished law

News of the tender annulment released on Tuesday. Due to higher bids than the contract price, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Trade cut off procurement activity for state reserves.

In the announcement, this institution refers to Article 62 of the Law for Public Procurement.

“All responsible tenders contain prices that, in a substanial way, exceed the budget of contracting authority for procurement activity”, the report says.

But, according to Ardit Dragusha from Democracy Plus, the ministry has referred to the article that has already been abolished.

Under the new procurement law, which MINT has overlooked, the procurement activity is cancelled when responsible <x0nders contain prices exceeding the budget of contracting authority for procurement activity”.

According to Dragusha, the ministry could not cancel the call if it referred to the interpretation of the Procuration Regulatory Commission.

Although television 7 has asked for clarification, the Ministry of Industry, Undertaking and Trade has not returned answers.

Meanwhile, criticism of the ministry's decision comes from the Investigative Commission for State Reserves.

Anyway, MINT had seen it buy 80 thousand pounds of rice, 65 thousand liters of food oil, 80 thousand cans 200 grams, and 15 thousand gallons of water.

All this projected worth 227 thousand euros.

Of the recent scandal with state reserves, two MINT officials -- Irfan Lipovica and Hafiza Gara -- and businessman Ridvan Muharremi -- have already been released from custody.
