“The deceased had a knife in his hand” - What does the Prosecution file say about two suspects in the 18-year-old Podujevo murder?

The Pristina Foundation Prosecutor-in-law, the Department for Mitur, on January 15th, 2024 has submitted the request to the Constitutional Court in Pristina for the appointment of the detention measure against two suspected minors that they caused serious bodily injuries to L.F., which later passed away at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK). Request [...]

The prosecution's request for the detention of two minors was issued on January 15th, 2024, when the late man was now being addressed in the CKUK, which on January 20th passed away, making criminal acts rescinded by “Vrase at” in “Vrases”.

Under Prosecution request provided by “Justice Vow“, there is doubt based on that on January 14, 2024, in Podujevo following the preliminary agreement in co-operation, the two suspected minors, over an earlier verbal dispute and the critical day following a clash between the first suspects and the recently injured (now) L.F., who had begun to leave, the first suspect to be deprived of life, had taken the car with which he quickly arrived, and just saw the victim (now the deceased member of L. F) on the sidewalk and moving up close to a wall of a house that was near the road, L.F., manages to jump over the front of the vehicle and has fallen to the ground half down.

Then, it is said that the first minor stops the car and with a wooden stick in his hand has begun to hit it in the body and head, reports the report. “Battle for Justice”.

“Then the minor (first) stops the car and comes out with a wooden stick, this appropriate tool for serious human health and has begun to hit it through parts of the body and the head, leaving it lying in a serious state of health”, the request is said further.

The victim was then said to have been lying in Intensive at KKUK and in serious condition and in danger of life as a result of his injuries.

And it is said that the second minor, while the first minor was hitting the injured man now, gets out of the car and starts to attack him, punching him and kicking him in different parts of the body, injured (now the deceased L.F.).

With that, according to the prosecution's first description, they were suspected of having to carry out co-ordination criminal work “attempted murder”.

While, the Foundation Court in Pristina, the Department for Mitur, on January 15, 2024, after the hearing, has approved the Constitutional Prosecutor's request, and the same day has scheduled the month-long detention measure against two minors.

The detention measure, the suspects will be counted from January 14th, 2024 to February 13th, 2024.

The court's ruling, it is said, that from the data on the paper and evidence collected so far, it results in doubt that minors have carried out the work they are suspected of.

It says that on the basis of watching the CD from the scene, the first minor is seen following him at high speed and hitting L.F., slamming him onto the car near the wall, then coming out of the car and hitting him with a stick in his hand, while it is said that the deceased now had a knife in his hand.

According to the Court, when L.F. falls, the second minor comes out of the car, who hits the victim while he was lying around with his fist and kick, and the first minor hits him many times as he was lying on the back of his head, and then the second young man pulls the first minor, and they both get into the car, where the second minor puts him in the car, puts him in the stick and leaves the car with the scene.

Thus, the court estimated that conditions for appointing detention of suspects have been met.

Otherwise, on January 2024, 18-year-old L.F. had died at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo in Pristina.

The prosecution, first initiated as “attempted murder”, and then respelled to “Murder”.

“Foundation Procurory in Pristina, announces public opinion regarding the event of dt. January 15, 2024, in Podujevo, where, after a physical clash, two suspects (the minors) have been hit with a stick to the deceased victim (such as 18), causing bodily injuries, with the result of these injuries taken, the victim has been sent to QKUKU for medical treatment, while on the same day, with the order of the State Prosecutor, the two minors have been detained because of the criminal act <x1Vrasje at the attempted” (tex2) and the case has begun in Pristina. Within the legal deadline, near the competent court, the prosecutor has requested the detention measure for the suspects, which has been approved and suspects are currently under detention measure”, the statement said. /Betimy for Justice
