Coopman: Regiment has welcomed the concept of growth plan and is working on reforms

European Union Director General for Neighborship and Enlargement Negotiations Gert Jan Coopman, at a conference on media at the EU Summit in Skopje, said the growth plan in this meeting could increase the economy of Western Balkan states for twice as much.

He also said it is very motivating how the region has welcomed this concept and is working on reforms.

It is an honor to be in Skopje today to attend the leadership meeting in the growth plan, which is potentially a game changer for the region, to increase your economy twice in the next decade and it is very motivating to see how the region has welcomed this concept and is working hard on reforms that will help you achieve this”, Koopman said.

He further said leaders will discuss the regenerative market and the region's integration into the EU internal market.
