Citaku: Neither the PDK nor the president's family members were invited to the book promotion for Hashim Thaci in Tirana.

Through a post in her Facebook account, Citaku clarified the opinion that neither the PDK nor Thaci's family have received an invitation to be part of the event.

However, for the sake of clarification of the opinion, the lack of participation of our officials in this valuable activity, beyond any other hint, is just a much simpler fact: Neither Mayor nor Headship nor MPs from the Parliamentary Group have received an invitation or notice to be present at this event. Not even family members or close friends” wrote Citaku, among other things.

Today, through the media we have reported that a few days ago, in Tirana, the book has been promoted that has President Hashim Thaci, the new “, modern statesman”, Roger Boes and Suzy Jagger's leadership.

Of course, this news makes us all happy, especially as officials of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

However, for the sake of clarifying the opinion, the lack of participation of our officials in this valuable activity, beyond any other hint, has to do with just one much simpler fact: Neither Mayor nor Headship nor MPs from the Parliamentary Group have received an invitation or notice to be present at this event. Not even family or close friends.

We, first of all, believe that there was an unintentional launch of the publishing house “Fan Noli” and the Centre for Open and Dialogue COD in Albania, as the organiser of book promotion in Tirana.

Otherwise, such an invitation would be welcome and, however, that it would meet in a positive response to each of us in the PDK. We hope that a similar event will soon be organised in other cities, because, above all, this book has a special value and deserves to be distributed and discussed about it throughout Albanian lands.

Personally, and not only, if we knew, we would go without an invitation. Earlier I received regular reports and invitations from COD. Not this time.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has always praised the role of the media, whose demands have always tried to treat with dedication. We invite everyone, once again, who are interested in reporting the truth and the facts to meet us every time they have some confusion or any response from us in connection with any event, information, or attitude. Conclusions that don't apply to truth serve no one - neither you nor the public.
