Great Britain's Foreign Affairs Minister, David Cameron, spoke at the news conference today after meeting with his Kosovo counterpart, Donika Grovalla.
The former British prime minister said they continue to remain major supporters of Kosovo, and that the current period in the world that is being marked by major conflicts makes Britain as supportive of its friends.
“We are great supporters of the independence of Kosovo, the sovereignty of Kosovo, and of the right of Kosovo to be recognised by others”, Cameron said at the media conference.
I think that one of the things I heard is very important is the importance of stability in the Western Balkans in general. This is something Great Britain is investing in. It's something very important for our national interest”.
I think that the discussions we've had take hold of a more general structure as we see in the news today, we live in a world of great uncertainty, with great conflicts, and it's a period where countries like us Britain should support our friends, work in and work for the nearest of our alliances”.
So what we're doing in Kosovo is part of a wider” structure.
