Bon Vivan assassination suspects continue detention measure for two months

It has been made known to the “Justice Vow”, Pristina Foundation Court Information Office.

“You announce that following the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's request for continued detention in the criminal case against defendant A. P, the Constitutional Court in Pristina ʹ the Department for Criminal Affairs date 04.01.2024 has approved the prosecution's request, so defendants A. P has continued the detention measure in two months' lengths. The defendant's detention measure has been continued until the date 05.03.24”, the court's response reported.

The two-month detention measure, suspect Pajaziti, was appointed by this court even on November 3rd, 2023.

Otherwise, at the order of the state prosecutor, on August 31, 2023, N.L. was detained, suspected of criminal acts “of helping follow the conduct of criminal acts”, which was assigned a month-long detention measure.

The same, after a month of this measure, has been suspended from detention, as there was no request from the Prosecutor for continuing detention.

On the other hand, Gezim Zakuti and Hisni Gecaj, suspected of the August 4th murder in <x0th>Bon Vivant”, on 29 August 2023 had been released from the detention measure. The other suspect in the case, Dukagjin Nikollaj, is on the run.

On October 24th, 2023, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has called on citizens who have suffered bodily injuries in the incident at “Bon Vivant” on 4 fronts to appear in the Kosovo Police or Prosecutor's Office in order to clear the case.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, on August 5th 2023, announced that all suspects in the case of “Bon Vivant” have criminal past. And Interior Minister Jedal Svecla has made the justice system guilty of killing “Bon Vivant”.

Regarding the August 4th case, Kosovo's Clinical Hospital Service and University University had announced that 17 people have been injured, while one of them died as a result of injuries. The case allegedly occurred as a result of a dispute between suspects.

Kosovo police had confirmed in the early hours of August 5th that in the incident that occurred at a local in downtown Pristina, there are persons injured with firearms, but also from glass fragments.
