The Ethic Secretariat in Albania's Parliament has ruled the 10-day expulsion of 18 DP deputies from the plenary hearings and 20 days of deputy Ervin Saliannji.
The Socialist Party has earlier demanded the expulsion of 19 DP deputies who blocked the works of Albania's Assembly and the Special Election Reform Commission, writes Euronews.al.
The letter to the Ethic Secretariat said that opposition lawmakers blocked the speaker, caused chaos in the hall by means of sound equipment by violating and obstructing regular development of the session.
They also blocked and the works of the Special Election Reform Commission, scheduled to be held physically on Friday, forcing commission members to proceed online.
