U.S. Air Force officer crowned Miss America 2024

Madison Marsh, a 22-year-old lieutenant in the US Air Force and master student in the Harvard Kennedy School public policy programme, won the event at Miss America 2024 in Orlando, Florida on Sunday evening. Ellie Breaux of Texas was ranked second.
Fifty-one racers participated, representing all 50 US states as well as the District of Colombia.
Marsh follows Miss America 2023, Grace Stanke from Wisconsin.
And Miss America's Teen 2024 contest, which took place on Saturday evening, crowned 16-year-old Hanley House, from North Carolina. / CNN
