Ahmeti for Xhaferi's election as prime minister: The Great Day of History Comes

Northern Macedonia Albanian leader Ali Ahmeti has reacted after the election of Talat Xhaferi as prime minister of this state.

He said the historic day has come for which they worked together.

Congratulating Xhaferi, Ahmeti has voiced confidence that the Albanian prime minister will follow the European path.

From 2001 onward, we have broken one by one of all ideological taboos, witnessed our people's potential in running our country in any institutional position, and we have proved crucial to maintaining the country's Euro-Atlantic orientation. I am convinced that Talat Xhaferi and his cabinet will be the continuation of the progressive work we have done so far, always in efficient service of all citizens of this country and dedicated to reforming it in the European spirit”, Ahmeti wrote in “Facebook”
