AGK: Periscop editorial is threatened, we invite the police and the Prosecutor to handle the case

The Kosovo Journalists' Association has reacted to an e-mail with threatening content of Periscop's editorials, which has reached Monday evening in our editorials.

The Kosovo Journalists' Association calls for Kosovo Police, Prosecutor and Justice and Prosecutors to handle the case.

“Reloading portal “Periscope”

The online paper “Periscope” has reported AGK, for a threatening e-mail that has been admitted about publishing the article entitled “Nine employees of the Medical Faculty receive a salary in KKUK without working at all”.

In the email accepted on January 15th, it requires the removal of the article with a “order to journalists carefully write because many journalists are getting rid of the writing or they're playing the hostages. Better date no problem than money for clicking and family problems”, writes in a part of the message.

The AGK, is concerned with the threat made to the editorialisation of this portal, and invites the Kosovo Police to urgently investigate where the threat comes from and to take appropriate measures to provide security to journalists of this medium. We also invite the Prosecutor and other law - enforcement agencies to do the right job to handle the” case.

An e-mail with threatening content has reached Periscop's editorial, Monday night.

The e-mail that has arrived in our Republic has a threatening tone of referring to the “the removal of journalists' heads and the kidnapping of their family”.
