Over 60 people are reported to have died as a result of the 7.6 - magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on New Year's Day.
Authorities have warned that dense cloud rain may cause landslides, making rescue operations difficult, reports Deutsche Welle.
The devastating fuels that hit Ishikawan and Honshu left 62 people dead and destroyed hundreds of buildings.
As a result of the ruins, rescue teams are struggling to find survivors.
