There are no rare cases when police officials face serious threats from citizens in different Kosovo cities. Often, verbal threats also creep into physical attacks on them, making their jobs difficult and even threatening their lives.
One such case occurred today on the “Agim Matoshi” street in Ferizaj, where police were attacked by two people after stopping their family member, who was moving without a driver's license.
The signal teaches that once police had announced the suspect that the car would be confiscated, his two angry family members have started with threats to police officials.
To put the situation under control, police have decided to arrest the two suspects who, even after being arrested, continued in similar behavior and even attacked police officials.
The two suspects have been escorted to the police station, where they have been interviewed and later launched investigations into it at the state prosecutor's order for criminal work “Attack the official person while performing official task”.
