Mujeci arrest, police in Albania are searching for the site where drugs were produced

Clan News columnist Liridona Daci, who has been following Albania's Police Operation, has provided details from the action where five people were arrested under suspicion of drug trafficking.

Daci said that criminal proceedings have been initiated since January of this year, as according to her, three other persons from Tirana who were dealing with the distribution of light drugs, mainly ecstasy, have been arrested.

Albania's “Police did not stop the step at just that moment, but declared a person searching for whom he had doubts he was the person who was organising the entire group”.

“Based on wiretapping because Albanian police have acted with wiretaps, with field surveillance and undercover agents able to find out that the narcotics content of the type of ecstasy, was brought from Kosovo to Albania, and therefore investigations will not focus solely on Tirana, but will be extended to Kosovo”, Daci said in Klan Kosova.

On the other hand, she said Albanian authorities have sought assistance from Kosovo Police to find the site where narcotics is produced, how it behaves on Kosovo's territory, and then how it is transported to Albania.

There is no doubt that in some cases when the material from Kosovo has come to Albania, it has been allowed itself to cross the border crossing, to see who are the people who would attract the narcotics package, and where it would be distributed”.

“largely, according to Albanian police, the narcotics in the first few moments has been spent mainly on weekends, as the flow of Kosovo citizens to get to the coast is greater and the opportunity to control is relatively small”, she said.
