Honored Armend Mehaj How did the prime minister arrange for the resignation of the minister who brought him from Norway?

A week of resignation for family reasons, former Defence Minister Armend Mehaj is still receiving honours, thanks and goodbyes in Pristina. The last two days, power has organized two parties. As long as there were doubts about the reasons for his resignation, they were related to non-proliferation within the Government. Prime Minister Kurt mentioned the woman's illness, which the minister [...]
Armend Mehaj, defence minister at Kurti II Government, resigned a week ago, “for family reasons”. While alluding to Mehej's disagreement with Vetevendosje Movement party officials, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his spokesman said he resigned due to a rare illness of his wife. Mejaj, whose family lives in Norway, where he came from to join the government, did not confirm or comment on why.
Mehej left the government, but not from Kosovo. His presentation lasted six days, as did no other retired official.
Good-bye, praise, thanks and regrets for Mehe's departure began to express foreign embassies.
After leaving Kurt's office at the supposed farewell meeting, Mehe went to the American Embassy in Pristina for a meeting with Ambassador Havenier. Although government reports had deteriorated in recent months, the American diplomat had superior words for Minister Mehej.
“I appreciated the opportunity to thank former Defence Minister Mehaj, for his service, our close co-operation and partnership during his mandate. I want all the best in his future commitments“, Havenier wrote.

Immediately after the news of Mehe's departure, British Ambassador to Kosovo Nicholas Abbott also expressed regret.
Unlike other government officials and LV parties, Mehe had not drawn red lines to former powers. While his colleagues had the past “20-year-old” response on each charge, Mehe has several times gathered his predecessors in the ministry, who were from opposition parties, such as Anton Quin and Haki Demollin of the LDK, Rrustem Berisha of the AAK.
As is not common, Mehe's resignation also pitied the opposition. Some opposition party officials have expressed gratitude to him.
“honoured Minister Meheaj, thank you for serving the homeland!”, wrote former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.

Pristina Chairman Progress Rama of the LDK has stated several times that with Minister Mehej they have become friends during their duties. He expressed regret on the day of leaving the government, and later gave it to the Pristina “key.
A rare professional, a man of Western values with whom I had extraordinary cooperation. The will and willingness of Minister Mehaj for co-operation beyond party policies, for the sake of the country, is an example for all”, Rama wrote on Mehej's resignation day.

The German Embassy in Pristina honoured Mehej with a military order, given on behalf of German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius.
It's really an honor to accept such an assessment from a partner state like Germany. Moreover, when close co-operation, co-ordination and common goals in the field of defence and security” are highlighted, Mehaji wrote on Facebook on August 10th.

When Mehej was receiving praise from all sides, the Government engaged in a series of expectations and thanks for him.
Just before midnight, last night on August 14th, the prime minister's office sent communiqués to the media with the announcement of organising a farewell bid for the former minister to the prime minister's court this evening.
At this reception, Prime Minister Kurti estimated that since the Defence Ministry was established, Armend Mehaj is the most hardworking, dedicated and successful at the helm.
Over the course of 29 months, former Minister Mehaj has almost doubled the number of soldiers, adding to the ranks of the Kosovo Security Force 2,240 young and new. The arms purchase has increased by 191%, meaning nearly triple more than when it took office”, the prime minister was quoted as saying.

After five days of his resignation, a welcoming meeting Meheji organised the Vetevendosje Movement in one of the capital's locals on 13 August. There was also a banner saying “Thank you, Armend Mehaji”

Even in this organisation, Kurti has reverbered what he has stated several times this week for Minister Mehej and the Ministry of Defence as a whole during his term.
On the Facebook Vetevendosje Movement page, a video was published from the welcoming meeting for Mehaj.
Armend Mehaj became a popular name when Prime Minister Kurti, after his February 14th victory of 2021, announced that he had extended an invitation to lead the defence ministry. Mehej was a military man who had served in the Norwegian army. His biographies reportedly served on several peacekeeping missions, such as Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Chad, and Central Africa.
