The Kosovo Football Federation has reacted after the Serbian club's resident, Crvena Zvezda, for scandalous choreography in the match against Fiorentina in Belgrade, where a tank appeared with the inscription “when the army returns to Kosovo”.
According to the SFF, presenting a tank as choreography in tribonne with the symbol against Kosovo is an unacceptable and unique act for sport, but also for the harmony and peace among countries in the region, and especially in the period of tensions between Kosovo and Serbia.
This publicly expressed act, accompanied by provocative slogans, testifies that the opinion in Serbia and the authorities there has not changed at all from aggressive approach and is at the same time an open provocation to football sports and the Republic of Kosovo”.
Kosovo's “Football Fund has acted in accordance with UEFA regulations and principles, file a formal complaint on the issue. We've been looking for the U bodies. The EFA urgently investigate this case and take tough measures on Crvena Zvezda club and fans so that such chauvinist actions and similar provocations can be prevented in the future”, reportedly in the FF's response, the Klankosova.tv broadcast.
On the other hand, the NK said that choreography and such slogans aimed at causing conflict and hatred between countries and peoples should not be tolerated.
“This case makes us realize that U's organs are urgently needed EFA and FIFA take tougher measures against violating the principles and basic values of the football game. We hope and believe that our complaint and reaction will be taken seriously and that those who incite hatred through football will be punished by”.
“The NFFK will continue to promote the true values of football, as it is aware that a safe and respectful environment in stadiums is essential to experiencing football emotion positively”, said in response.
