The Kosovo government has announced that 13 agreements have been signed with the Government of Albania.
According to the announcement, although without the two governments' meetings, agreements were signed that cover co-operation in various fields, ranging from security and justice to education and culture.
“In order to create a free space for the interaction of people, ideas, capital and other common areas, as well as to ensure a better perspective for the citizens of the two countries, the agreement for mutual recognition of the lawyer's and mediatorial profession” has been signed.
“to develop co-operation in the field of agriculture, promote trade and facilitate controlling procedures, agreements have been made to facilitate control procedures for non-living origin products”, the government's announcement said.
In addition, it becomes known that another agreement is also the donation by the Council of Ministers of Albania, the Government of Kosovo of the e-inspectation portal.
“Also, the interior ministers of our two countries have signed the joint declaration of intent jointly pledging to intensify co-operation in the field of security, mainly focusing on facilitating cross-border flow and advancing information through border management systems, advancing the Joint Centre for Integrated Border Management, and advancing co-operation in preventing and fighting crime<1>.
Today's “Agreements, along with those signed at the two meetings held in the last two years between governments, bring our countries and citizens closer to each other and reiterate the strengthening of the co-operation of the Republic of Kosovo with the Republic of Albania”, the report said.
