Kurti promised investors from Greece, two Greek companies coming to Kosovo that won millions of tenders

In 2022, Prime Minister Albin Kurti had stayed in Symi, Greece, where, among other things, he had claimed to have met 30 businessmen -- potential investors in Kosovo. Since then, there is no news of where at least one of these 30 foreign investors is, however, we are now a year later and Kurt has travelled [...]
As a result of Kurt's old meetings, we have not seen any concrete investment. Since the prime minister said these meetings were neither “tupan” nor with “vuzela”, but that his efforts were non-public and intended to produce results, it appears he failed to convince any investors of those meetings to invest in Kosovo.
“I have met close to 30 different businessmen on the investment issue in Kosovo. These businessmen have not all been Greek, a part have been European and American who are already in Greece. The biggest efforts I make to the Republic are in the field of foreign investment. So the more I present Kosovo as an attractive place for investment, but these meetings in most of them don't even make up for evuvuzela because it's harmful”, Kurti said.
But Periscopi for the sake of correctness and fair reporting informs the public that, however, there are two <x0-investor” potential, apart from the nature of foreign investment, these companies are reaping fruit from the state of Kosovo.
“TW HELLAS (TUVNORD) SA” and Company “ERGOTEM SA” are Greek companies that have entered the Kosovo tender market following Kurti's visit to Greece. Both in the energy market, namely the Kosovo Energy Corporation- KEK.
While KEK chief chief chief Nagip Krasniqi had not yet been imprisoned under suspicion of corruption, the company “Greek ERGOTEM SA” signed the contract for the first time in April of this year with KEK.
The contract was called “The slippery tiles on the PF-Cales of coal mills” The tender was carried out in open procedure and was worth 1,621,544.20 euros (over a million and six hundred thousand euros).

For the same jobs, which, according to KEK, appeared in this contract, the same company has been given additional tools, linking another contract with negotiations worth 52,312.94 euros. (over fifty and two thousand euros).

Although this company received its first tender in April, it is registered in Kosovo as the Foreign Society Branch. Based on data from the Kosovo Business Recording AgencyARBK, it was registered two weeks ago, on July 6, 2023.
Its legal representative in Kosovo is Lulzim Beqiri, while managing director Nikolaos Kalazis.
Periscope has found that Lulzum Beqiri in March last year was appointed board member at Central Public Company “Infracos”. But the same one in a few months had resigned.
Next Greek company “T UV H ELAS (TUVNORD) The SA”, in March, had linked a negotiations contract with KEK, worth 628,425,00 euros, over six hundred and two thousand euros. The contract is called “The construction of services for monitoring the implementation of the design, supply and completion of jobs related to the cease-and-run”.
