The Serbian Defence Ministry has indicated that during the implementation of regular activities in the Land Security Zone, around 9:30 this morning in the village of Dronovac near Vranje, there has been an accident with a military vehicle in which there have been four members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
In a traffic accident, senior first-class sergeant Branislav Kovacevic lost his life from the First Land Army Brigade, who headed the vehicle.
Three members of the Serbian Armed Forces have suffered injuries.
They were treated at the health centre in Vranje, the ministry announced.
Military police authorities, deputy public prosecutor in Vranje and members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have appeared at the scene. The investigation is under way.
