Close to 200 German companies warned escape from Kosovo due to the political situation ] the frightening consequences for Kosovo's economy

The instability of politics in Kosovo and the fragile security situation, also warned by the American emissary Gabriel Escobar, as potential for erupting any regional conflict, is affecting the strategy of potential investors in Kosovo.

Even the warnings of the German-Kosovo Economic Ode are that only because of the tense situation in northern Kosovo on May 26th, over 198 German companies can leave.

According to economic connoisseurs, risking foreign investors can bring major damage and at the same time mistakes that Kosovo cannot improve.

University professor at the Faculty of Economics Nagip Skyer, in a conversation for Albanian Post, considers such a warning could bring an unexpected <x0) consequences to Kosovo”.

The “Pages are already on the surface, warnings of the German-Kosovo Economic Chamber that German investors are deeply concerned about the last security situation in the North, it is quite clear that in a very near future they can leave”, he said.

Such a signal also shows that investors of other countries can take similar steps like those of Germany.

We will not have new potential investors in our country, but also those currently with entrepreneurship activities in Kosovo will be removed. This paves the way for investors from other countries to follow the same path”.

Even for economics expert Imer Raci, Kosovo has only entered the risk phase because of the political situation.

“The lack of political stability can be followed by unfriendly monetary and fiscal policies. So this limits them to predict a long period for their business and cannot work on the principle of continuing”, he tells AP.

Raci has further clarified that this would naturally result in the loss of jobs for young people.

The loss of investors negatively affects the level of Kosovo's economic development and even human development because it will have consequences with the loss of jobs by many young people, why not until we migrate them”.

Eventually, Kosovo's <x0] money target”.

Kosovo cannot develop without foreign investment in capital, because capital activates human resources”, Raci declares, clarifying that in the last link of the chain, it is the citizen who loses most.

“The government informs business of the decisions it makes”

Even the Kosovo Economic Oda (OEK), following German Ode warnings, has appealed to businesses for caution and caution.

Kosovo's “EconomicOda expresses its deep concern with recent developments affecting the country's economic developments”, said OEK.

It is said that all issues which are open can be resolved with dialogue, so to negotiate through an open, transparent and full co-ordination dialogue with international friends”.

“As well as OEK appeals to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo that businesses be warned in advance of whatever decision is made and affecting businesses, so that businesses have time to prepare and protect themselves and consumers from measures to be taken”.

German Oda: Our investors in Kosovo can give up or interrupt activities

The OECGGGGGS members are concerned that German companies can give up investments in Kosovo, or disrupt existing activities. News of political instability undermines the confidence of German customers and investors significantly”.
