Qalaj has claimed that Interior Minister in early March has held for 12 hours at the meeting the chiefs of investigations to report to him.
According to the PDK deputy, the meeting has even taken place outside the interior ministry's facilities.
“in early March, at the facility in National Park in Blineja, outside the Ministry's facility, Svechla has held 12 hours in the investigation chiefs reporting on the annual report. It's illegal, it's horrible, it's frightening and it can't happen. Some units are directly accountable, such as Task-Forca, to the Special Prosecutor and are now forced to report to the minister. I urge them to turn away from the direct influence of the justice organs, especially the tracking organs. They have leaders, managers, it's the Police Director who is accountable to the minister. It's horrible and this shouldn't happen”, Qalaj said at the Assembly hearing Thursday.
