He said that at the meeting he stressed that it is necessary for the agreement to be implemented in all, until he has demanded that Serbia be held responsible for its violations.
I welcomed EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak to our government offices. I stressed the need for the Constitutional Agreement to be implemented overall and the need for the EU to hold Serbia responsible for the continuing violations of that”, Kurti wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Lajcak at a media conference after meeting with Kurti, said the purpose of his visit is to agree on future steps of dialogue.
He indicated there will be a meeting in Brussels, Bislimi-Petkovic, until he announced that after Pristina he will also go north of the country to understand the situation there.
We have a deal and anaxis, so we have to have a clear understanding of the first, second and third step. That's the point. This afternoon I will also go north of Kosovo. I want to have a first-hand view of the situation there, and I hope there is a political solution to focus fully on normalization”.
“We can only have normalisation or confrontation. We will definitely focus on normalisation, so we have to avoid a despass or confrontation”.
Lajcak said he would also hear the prospect of South Mitrovica chairman Bedri Hamza.
The European Emissary was also asked about Association and what is acceptable to the EU.
“The devices are to find a middle and that's exactly what we're going to do. What is acceptable to the EU is based on European norms and values, which are in line with existing European models”.
Lajcak declined to answer some journalists' questions, saying that at this point he does not want to send messages.
After Kosovo, Lajcak will also go to Serbia.
