The economy does not develop when investments from the state budget for gross capital formation are halved as a percentage of total expenditures?
Here's what happened during the left government. See the picture. Investments on capital formation have dropped from 22.6% of the budget in 2019 to only 9.7% in 2022.
This policy leads to stagnation and economic setbacks. With this policy Kosovo will remain even more behind the countries of the region and more broadly in the amount of social capital per capita.
Kosovo needs massive capital investments to increase social capital, which included roads, railways, educational and scientific infrastructure, health infrastructure, public energy, water, heating, etc.
For many years, public capital investments have helped economic development by building the infrastructure needed to improve the quality of citizens' lives and lower business costs.
