ATK calls on gastronomia, singers, designers and beauty salons to declare revenues

Considering that we have now entered the season when certain sectors of businesses increase their activity, the Kosovo Tax Administration therefore called on all taxpayers who in their activities have gastronomy/hosteleria activity, singers, designers, and beauty salons to declare their tax duties correctly, since we will otherwise have to act according to legal calls. The summer season multiplies the above - mentioned activities, which are based on their activity, are like a chain, where there are mostly very different receptions, both in restaurants and in discotheques, where the singing or DJ is tied, as well as preparation from beauty and stylist halls. To That Purpose The ATK has designed the ATK project for Accommodation and Food Services, which based on meeting data, is listed as one of the high-level non-fulfillment industries, so it is also part of the specific plans to meet for groups identified with high risk for 2022<1>, said by ATK on Facebook.

ATK has announced it will add tax verifications and checks to these sectors.

“The modules built within ATK have produced various factors that have contributed to this selection of the industry, such as low-income payment/incomes, despite large numbers of them; non-declaration of workers and pay-offs; non-deserved or under-defeitment of parties; and failure to keep records related to singers during musical evenings; not to release fiscal coupons; as well as to be carried out in checks between consumers and other ventures; and as not to hold on or rent. The ATK warns that before we begin with tax verifications and checks, we call on all individuals and businesses to declare and pay correctly their obligations defined with the Tax Legislation in force, on the contrary we are obliged to start with verifications and the opening of tax checks, which could result in punishments from irregularities and inaccuracies faced”, said by ATK.
